"Redemption."
The old woman writing down my details stopped to look up at me, raising a bushy eyebrow at me. "What is your real name?"
I shrugged sheepishly. "In my culture we are given several names, that is my name right now."
"Do you have a nickname?" She groaned.
"Well in my language, Redemption is actually said as Ryvypezual, so I guess Revvy?" I gave a short smile before continuing. "Spelled R-E-double V-Y."
She continued filling in the forms before stamping them and filing them. "How do you intend to pay today?"
"Just a second." I sifted through my bags and felt for the cold metal discs. I pulled out a single gold piece and sat it down on the desk. This time both eyebrows were raised at me. "Can I get change for a gold piece?"
She picked it up and bit at it for a second, seemingly shocked it was real. "Who did you rob to get this, girl?"
"Someone who deserved it."
