Tubbo was wary of the man in front of him. Sam had given him enough lessons of Stranger Danger, and he was not afraid to stand up for himself if given a chance. Even so, he kept staring at either the ground or the table.
"Eight."
"Wait really?", they ask, seemingly surprised.
"Yeah. Mr Wilbur says I'm small because I don't eat enough."
"Mr- Wilbur?", They ask, cracking a smile. "I'm his friend actually."
Now, this is something Tubbo didn't expect.
(Yeah, Techno doesn't know if he likes the kid or not, but he ain't doin' too shabby with his first impression.)
"Mhm. My name's Technoblade.", Techno replies.
"Really?!", he whisper-shouts, lifting his head up so fast he almost gives himself whiplash.

OR I squeezed Ranboo in a hug one last time before laying him down on the cloudy floor, a little closer to Tubbo before stepping over him, sword still in hand. "You killed my best friends." I glared as Techno watched as always, nonchalant. "You killed my best friends!" "It's my job, kid." "Fuck you." Techno swung his axe idly, "as an assassin, I get that more than you'd think."
