Alexis Dawson was born partially blind and lives with her foster parents because her biological father was in prison for her mother's death. She has a best friend/assistant, Dwight Hunt. Where ever Alexis goes, he follows. One day a storm causes them to take shelter in an abandoned building, in which they found a man. The man gave them a device stating to 'save the dimension' with his final breath.
