Because of a rule broken by a merman, that certain merman was cursed to sleep for eternity until he is to be re-surface from the depths of the sea bed. Whether by accident or intentional, whatever that brings him above the vast salt water will wake the cursed mer-creature.
One day a strong current broke his shell-confinement, he floated in the middle of the twilight zone, then after a week passed a lucky crew who seeks merfolk for bad intentions caught him by net, he was awakened finally.
Side effects from his long nap made him unfazed from any fears, as curious like his father he wanted to learn the human world but he had no idea what to do yet, where to go, and especially who to trust.
He remembered some of his past before his slumber, mostly he remembered his father telling him never to spite, never to fear, never to back down, and never, under any circumstances, to ever trust a mere human. Especially when it comes to love.
Little did he know, he charmed the Captain's heart, who happens to be his mate. Maybe the captain can help the lost and confused merman, for reasons, but because of a mission given to him and his crew it will be hard to do so.
What will the two do during their journey from ocean blue sea to dry green land? Will the merman love or trust his 'mate'? Will the said mission proceed or cease?
Whatever the ending, the journey will be like a boat hit by tons of waves.
