the summer it all happened.

Me and belly have been besties since we were younger. Susannah, her mom, and my mom all met each other at the fat pelican, a bar in cousins, and they've been inseparable ever since. Which also means so have me and belly. We had such a pure and healthy relationship, we both felt very safe around each other, always 100% ourselves. She even tells me sometimes that she feels closer to me than she does Taylor, that always made me happy to hear.

Because our families were all so close that also meant that i was close with all the boys. Jeremiah and i had always gotten along, our relationship was always playful and loving. We would always sit next to each other during dinners and movie nights. Me and him were always so similar, both very social and outgoing. They would always call us golden retrievers, it was true. Everyone has always made jokes about us ending up together, especially my mom and Susannah. Belly also loved making jokes, she would even point out if me and jer just happen to be matching (which was weirdly a lot). She also loved taking pictures of me and jer almost like she was paparazzi. Me and jer had a weird thing between us, we both knew that we liked each other (which was more love than like), we even hooked up a couple times, but then we would never do anything about it. It was like friends with benefits, perfect for us because we would get with other people and neither of us would get jealous, well i kind of would a little. We would never act like anything happened and still be all playful and flirty. We weren't ready for a serious relationship yet, and we kind of both knew that if we ever got together than we would never break up, so for right now we would have fun then see what would happen. Everyone knew how we were, they wished we would just take a leap and finally start dating but they also never pushed too hard because they knew we would do what we wanted anyways. It was a perfect relationship for right now.
