Life at the orphanage is all Ria has ever known. After her parents left her at the door when she was merely an year old, she strived to enjoy life the best she could. Until a mysterious woman shows up at her doorstep claiming that she is a witch and her entire existence is flipped. With magic comes power and with power comes responsibility. It is merely a telling of what you have already read in canon, just from a different perspective. 3. Move to "The Chamber of Secrets" and start with the chapter titled "TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE." All the chapters before that are, once again, events you would already be familiar with. 4. Finish book 2 and move on to book 3. There on after, you can read normally. This isn't compulsory. It is simply, in my opinion, the best way to enjoy the series. Since I understand that some portions of the first two books are not very different from canon and thus, can seen boring.
