I would have loved it to be when denim jackets and badges and studs covering them and tartan skirts were the fashion, not skimpy shorts and belly shirts like it is now. When kids cared more about music then sex. When you could stay out 'till dark and your parents wouldn't get worried because they knew you had a brain. 90's sitcoms, black nail varnish and Mohawks. When punks were the cool kids, not the outcasts. When people didn't cake themselves in foundation and a little eyeliner was enough, for boys and girls. When people were happy with themselves. When you could be yourself without being judged."
