In the days following the Battle of Britain, Thomas the Tank Engine befriends a young boy named Christopher who longs to reconnect with his father. A New Power station is Built on the little western between Arlesburgh and Norramby to generate more power for the Island but some strange chemicals are being used for it. But one day the power station suffered a system failure and it caused the chemicals to leak out of the power station and spread all over Sodor infecting engines and people.
