Wings of Fire : The animus curse

Hundreds and hundreds of years after the events of the last prophecy of the lost continent. Candentis is a young Icewing-Rainwing hybrid who grew up far from home, so far away that he has never seen the world. Raised under the eye of Mindwatcher, Candentis is completely safe from the dangerous world of Pyrrhia. Icewings have become the only ones who possess the animus magic gene. Other kingdoms have decided to either wipe out opponents from the face of the earth, or get magic for themselves. Once again, peaceful lands are on the verge of war because of the forbidden fruit of magic. Candentis is destined either to destroy the magic of the animus, or to bring it to all the tribes, but what secrets does the powerful magic that existed thousands of years before his birth hide? Why did he grow up so far from his homeland, hiding in the mountains with the night dragon, and what role does he really have in store for him? Answers will be found, and the mystery of dragon magic will be solved once and for all. Time to change the course of events from the past.
