Project: hEro

In a world in which ecological and nuclear disasters have swept the globe, a few cities are all that remain of civilization. Completely isolated and unaware of anything but their own survival, these last clusters of humanity are anything but havens. Crime and corruption run rampant, and while the strong gain more and more power, those who are weak are left to rot. When your only other option is to die in the irradiated wastelands outside the city walls, no one has dared challenge the ones who hold power.

If she was asked to write a summary of her life, 15 year old Alina Vilava would have to go with something along the lines of "exploding dumpster fire of chaos". Getting chased through her community only added to the pile in flames, but hey, that's the way things are sometimes...
