Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. Steve POV Eddie and Steve have known each other since middle school. It wasn't until the recent touch with the Upsidedown had they really gotten close again. The kids adored him, all of their friends loved him. He fit right in, and Steve had fallen absolutely head over heals for him. It's been exactly 6 months since Eddie was taken by the monsters in the Upsidedown. 6 months since Steve's felt anything, or wanted to feel anything. 6 months since he's been happy to see someone, or hear someone else's voice. How has it only been 6 months? Steve's drinking has gotten out of hand, so has the undying need to numb it all away. One of the best friends he's had since Robin, gone in a matter of moments.
