When Akira Valabeneni fails her biochemistry course right before entering her senior year of college, she's at a loss of what to do. With a vicious grandma at home, hoping to judge her at every turn, her mom and dad get the idea of sending her to India, in the hopes that Akira can take time for herself. Her cousin's wedding is in two months, plenty of time for her to presumably become proficient in Biochemistry.

Vacationing at her aunt's mansion has some perks, although the medical student tutor was not something Akira was looking forward to. But as she spends more time with the mysterious man, Akira finds herself questioning her views about herself and what's really important in life.

I was not a studious girl when I was forced into medical field because of my father who always expected the best from me. I didn't realize becoming doctor became so dear to me that it turned into a passion instead of a escape from my broken family and that's when I saw him again.. He made my heart beat a little faster but broke it just as everyone did and left me 5 years ago without any warning and stormed back in my life without one too. It was decided that i won't let him ruin me again but chip by chip the walls of my heart fell away seeing his efforts and that Infuritaingly handsome face. Should I let him in my life giving him a chance to prove himself? Or stick to the stereotype of "all men are same"? " I loved you" She whispers, the hand I'm holding cold against my skin. I stroke the skin with my thumb once, trying to get her eyes on me and then she looks at me. Hurt eyes look at me and in that moment I wanted her to look away because of the hurt evident in her eyes. After 4 years, seven days and something hours, she finally looked at me. "I know." I whisper back. "You still left me alone to fend for myself." My grip tightens on her hand. "I know. But I want to make things right. Do you think you can give me one chance?. " Ps: this story is of Isha mehra, sister of ishan, the main lead of my previous story, the setting of both the books is completely different and they are not interconnected. But if you want to have a better sense of characters that might be same as the previous book, you should read that first and then continue with this. But it can also be read as a standalone. Thank you for reading till here. Happy reading<3

In Physics, we learn 'Opposites attract', in Chemistry, we learn 'Like dissolves like' and in Biology we learn 'Dopamine + serotonin + oxytocin = Love.' But in real life do any of these concepts apply? When a sweet and simple girl, belonging to a highly reputed family, Aaradhya, meets a carefree, handsome, rich boy, Abhimanyu, she finds all these concepts failing. What happens when different youngsters from different backgrounds come to the same college with big dreams? They all have their demons to fight but does that stop them from helping their friends in their battles? ********* This is my first story but I will try to give you the best. Do give this story a chance. Credit: Story cover by @Ana_official2
