19 year old johnny marr had always known 17 year old nancy as nothing more than his bandmate (and bestmate from school) andy rourke's annoying little sister. but when andy breaks his arm and the smiths need a temporary bassist to stand in for him, fellow-bassist nancy enthusiastically steps up to the job and johnny reluctantly begins to teach her the basslines. as the two spend more time together, johnny starts to question how he feels about nancy and whether he sees her as more than just his new bassist...
