A Japanese twenty-something girl.
A cupcake shop.
A stranger.
A little girl who thinks everyone is a princess in their own way.
Maybe this world isn't such a bad place after all.

---

Mirai Hayata is a Japanese girl who works in a cupcake shop with her sister-in-law, who is a little over-obsessive. She's working her way through college. Her mother left her when she was in grade school, and her uncle died in a plane crash. She's lonely, but really does enjoy the peace and quiet.

Oswald Davis (affectionately called Ozzie) is a sergeant in the US Army, and has a degree in toxicology. He does nothing much more than babysit his niece, Asia, who loves princesses.

Their chance of seeing each other for the first time since elementary school was practically zero to none.

Is this a coincidence . . . or is it fate?

I want to feel your tongue across my tip. [Vanessa] Ooo yeah baby, I want to taste your cum on my lips. I started touching myself as I was getting horny just reading his words. I hadn't come in a long time and it was overdue. My husband no longer satisfied me and he wasn't really trying to accomplish the feat. He usually gets his and goes to sleep, like fuck you, I got mine. So I'll just get mine when and where and with whom I please. 'Cause why the fuck not? He's doing it. I'm sure of it. Nobody leaves their wedding ring behind as much as this motherfucker did. Warning: ** This novel does include explicit sexual adult situations**
The Five Cursed Witches: Volume 4 - Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
51 parts Ongoing Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (ongoing) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love
