the world is burning. you only see the flicker of flames going out and smoke rising to cover the sky; you can only hear your shaky fragile breaths and a ringing in your ears. the people fighting alongside you turn away from the remains of their enemy and instead turn to face you. you take a step forward. then another. you can only seem to see them for a second in between each step, as you stumble towards your friends you start to hear the world around you, screaming, crying, fire. you start to taste, blood, sweat and dirt. the more you get your senses back the clearer the image of this burning world becomes, the better you see your friends, the easier you can tell they're not looking at you with joy and relief, and the more evident it is that they're running past you not towards you, the more distinctly you can hear the screaming coming from the direction they're rushing towards, the easier you can turn to look, and the sooner you collapse.

Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
My Only Mistake
"I brought you here because I wanted to ask you something really important." He said and I smirked, knowing what he was going to ask me. "What is it?" He sighed and ran his hand through his hair again. "After last night, which was amazing, it got me thinking. What exactly are we?" The question that has been running through my mind ever since last night too. He sighed and held my hands in his,"Maddison, I like you, a lot. And I mean a lot. You're the most prettiest woman I've ever seen in my life, seriously. Both inside and outside. I want you, and only you. Shit, I'm bad at these things but, can you be my girlfriend?" ------------------------------ Lets start like this, Connor comes from a troubled past that soon turns out to be fading away as he moves to Missouri. After 2 years of living there, a new boy in town offers to be his friend. Connor hasn't had friends for his whole life so he saw this as an opportunity to get a real friend. Soon, Connor tries a lot of different things he hasn't tried and comes out excellent in all of them, but he makes enemies on the way. Their friend group expands and now there is 4 bestfriends in the group, but Connor only has feelings for 1. Will he mess up? But what will happen when his past starts following him everywhere he goes? What will happen when old feelings arise with just a glance at a dinner table? Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. A lonely girl from a small town in Oklahoma finds herself in the middle of Seattle, Washington. The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry.
