Making new friends is hard when you are new where no one knows you. People think you're weird and a loner unless you make friends fast. But you have to choose the right ones. And the only way you know if they're trustworthy and really want to be your friend: They would never leave you, or turn their back on you. Or keep secrets from you.

Katie Miller is new in school and wishes she was back at her old place. But her dad got a new and better job which caused them to move. How can she make new friends when no one cares to really pay any attention to her? Well, that's about to change.
