Life always expands, multiplies, and wants to go, the same with humans,
after all of the countries unite under a single empire, with countries becoming only provinces within that empire, humans look to conquer the milky way.
They will separate, unite, fight, explore, and find new life that doesn't derive from earth.
By the end of this journey, humans would be so foreign from us today, it would be hard to say we are even related

They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host.
