I wanted to write a story about a stay-at-home parent who is struggling. So often, I think as a society, we don't mention the hard days. In this story, I mention a hard day, a day where a parent just wants to hide for a moment but at the end, there is still a glimmer of hope and love - even if it's won through manipulation.
