The Musician & The Man On The Moon

This short story was an assignment for my college creative writing class where I had to take a prompt. 950 words in the children's genre about a struggling musician, must include a shield, and the character has just met the love of their life.

This story was fun to play with and I wanted it to have a sort of folklore feeling about it. Maybe a story that parents tell children in this fantasy world.
