EddieXFemOC The fire had taken Averys father 4 years prior, since then she had lived in forest hills trailer park with her mother. Avery couldn't wait to graduate, she just had to make it through this final year at Hawkins High and then she was free. But a boy known as Eddie Munson ruins Averys plan of making it through by hiding in the shadows. Will Avery run from this new friendship, or embrace it? Starting over at twenty is hard enough. Starting over with a toddler and a secret? Nearly impossible. After leaving Chicago behind, she thought Hawkins High would just be a pit stop - a place to quietly finish her diploma, keep her head down, and carve out a better future for her son. No one knows she's a mom... And she intends to keep it that way. Until Eddie Munson happened. Loud, stubborn, and impossible to ignore, Eddie is also repeating his senior year - and suddenly very interested in the new girl who quotes campaign rulebooks and wears metal band tees. But with bottle feeds, day-care drop-offs, and a life she's not ready to share, she can't afford distractions. Especially not the kind with wild hair, soft eyes, and a tendency to break past every wall she puts up. Between calculus exams, car-seat tantrums, and critical hits of the heart, she'll have to decide if it's worth the risk to let someone in - or if this is one campaign she'll have to run solo. - TW - Smut, smoking, drinking, swearing, weed, violence.
