Luz is the first specimen for the new generation of synths (5th gen) made by the institute. She is designated to be an experiment of becoming the ideal "wastelander" of the new world, thus she is tasked to explore the waste to earn some experience for the institute scientist. 

How will Luz the "wastelander" prevail in the unknown world she has to go through? 

Will she make friends with the people of the wasteland? 

Or will she make enemies with them on her adventure?

Note: There will be a mix of different sci-fi references, weapons, armor, and concepts that will be (plausible) added in the story, such as the exoskeletons from call of duty: advanced warfare and etc. (Though I will make some altercation for it to fit in this AU.)

Ps. The concept of the mods for the game will also be added.

At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. It's when it's mentioned that his father had a Brotherhood of Steel friend when Artemis takes interest and offers to go with him since she's also on her way to them. On their journey they come across the Enclave, an old enemy of the Brotherhood. Things come to a head as to who holds the Jefferson Memorial, the sight of Project Purity and war immediately breaks out between the two factions. A war deciding if the region gets fresh, clean water, or to make it so everyone in the wasteland becomes sick.

Edalyn Clawthorne was chosen years ago to be a general to lead the knights to protect the kingdom of the Boiling Isles which gave her the chance to help her daughter become the new protector. Princess Amity Blight found out she would be getting a bodyguard to watch over her. She's not very fond of the idea, but there's nothing she can do about it. Amity wasn't impressed when she found out that Luz seemed the type to not be a knight with her kindhearted attitude. What will happen between Luz and Amity once they officially meet each other?
