"Let her go" I watched as Layton's chain surrounded Aviva as she thrashed about releasing a bloodcurdling scream. All we needed to do was defeat him and the mission would be over.

I could see Azron struggling to free his hands.

"Boy if you want to save her so bad I just want one thing"
 
"What do you want" I scowled 

"Your soul" his reply was short no beating around.

"I said let her go" the clouds started to  swirl and I swore I could see shadows moving about, I felt an immense surge of power, healing my broken and battered body as well as those of my friends.

"So this is what Mila was talking about, that I could unlock greater power than imagined "

"Listen to me Layton, you will release her"

"And why would I do that"

"Because the shadow master said so"

"You want to put up a fight boy, it'll be your last" he launched at me
