When the new farmer, Joey, moves into Pelican Town located in Stardew Valley to take over his granpa's old farm, he comes across the most uptight person in town. Shane.

While Shane wants nothing to do with Joey at first, and always tells him to go away, Joey wants to become friends with him. At first, Shane didn't like how he'd never leave him alone, but after a while, he soon starts to rethink about not wanting to be friends with him. Joey tries to help Shane climb out of the deep, dark hole he's fallen in, and bring him into the light of day. It takes some time, but eventually, Shane comes around, and decides that maybe Joey isn't so bad after all. He likes being around him.. or should I say, he loves being around him.
