Terrahawks was the first program from the legendary Gerry Anderson in many years. The series saw the television producer reboot his career in 1983 with an all new puppet series. Produced in SUPERMACROMATION, unlike the former SUPERMARIONATION Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet marionettes, Terrahawks used state-of-the-art hand puppets to bring new forms of realism into filmmaking. Across 39 action packed episodes, Terrahawks stands as one of Anderson's most famous productions, in spite of it being made years following the golden age of Anderson's time with ITC Entertainment.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the series, Century 22 unveils the various home media formats the series has been released on from the original VHS releases of the 1980s to the DVD releases back in 2002 with frankly ugly looking prints, and up to the more recent HD Blu Ray releases. This book will unveil how Terrahawks has been kept alive over the years following its end, and how the series has survived in for audiences to experience the exciting adventures of Dr. Ninestein and his friends defending Earth against the evil Zelda and her android army.

Inside, fans will also be treated to special videos and interesting facts about the series. There will be something new for aficionados and newcomers to the series alike. A CaptainThunderWho Century 22 Production.

(Desclaimer) Before you read the story; I just wanted to say that all rights belong to PBSKids and the Kratt Brothers, this was no sponsor, it is all just for the people who love this specific character from the show. Thank you! (Team-EWP Blurple-Galaxy, A.K.A. Lyliana) You were walking outside your house on a lovely summer break. The people chatted about in your neighborhood street, the birds sang melodies, the sky was clear, and some squirrels hunted for some acorns. This summer was a going to be a busy holiday, you're parents had a lot of plans for the vacation. you all mingled about seeing some animals at the zoo or maybe go on a trip to any country, and your dreams came true. After a long ride from what seemed like a marathon, your parents unpacked the car and made some tea in the cabin, you laid on the cozy couch and (like you always did) texted your friends on your iPhone. At evening, you gazed at the sunset admiring the golden colors of the sky until they faded into a stary blue and black sky. suddenly, there were kids (your age) peeping out of the grass/bushes in red shirts, it was strange how they were dressed the same color but you didn't care, you gave them a friendly wave until a strange sound that sounded like technology and mechanical moans came from there bodies, they acted pretty odd for kids, suddenly they transformed into hardware robots with a cake shaped body, a dome shaped head that looked like an army tank, and a pipe for a mouth, they grabbed you by the arms one also held your mouth shut and took you into what looked like an Airship?

Stand By For Action as Century 22 uncovers the production behind Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's Stingray, one of classic television's best-loved series. Distinguished for pioneering filmmaking techniques in model shots, underwater visuals, and as an early TV series that was filmed in colour, Stingray remains one of the crowning jewels of the Gerry Anderson catalogue and is considered by some to be the finest of Gerry Anderson's programs. Massively successful in its 1960s merchandising, the series has enjoyed repeat exposure over the years to maintain the series' cult status. Now, as Stingray celebrates its 60th Anniversary, Century 22 investigates into the making of this iconic series, produced by AP Films between 1963-1964. From the earliest recorded notes on the series, the sophisticated puppetry of SUPERMARIONATION, creating underwater effects shots, or the influences surrounding the making of filming a futuristic science-fiction series made in the 1960s, this new book will educate all of Stingray. There will be something for every aficionado in this publication. P.W.O.R! A CaptainThunderWho Century 22 Production.
