After moving in to a new state, Ethan tries to steer his life into what it used to be. He starts to works at an office firm, earning a satisfactory salary, plus the working conditions are comfortable. Though not particularly popular, he makes a couple of friends at his job and even develops a crush on a coworker named Amanda. This balance however gets disturbed when Amanda gets attacked by an unknown assailant. Ethan manages to protect her but the assailant promises to strike again.
