Life was great for her. She had an amazing boyfriend, fabulous friends and powers. But she had to move away with her twin, Will Byers, Jonathan Byers and Joyce Byers after her adopted father, Hopper, passed away. She had trouble settling in and was bullied. But once her boyfriend, Mike, came over to her new home and met her 'friends' which turned into an accident.

Whilst everyone was dying out in Hawkins, the family were living a life but then both El and her sister were taken away and trained by ' Papa ' Doctor Brenner, to kill the villain who was killing people and creating doorways to the upside down, Vecna.

But an unfortunate event happens. Whilst saving Max and killing Vecna, El's twin fell injured, on her death bed after distracting Vecna. As she 'passed' away, her boyfriend fell into a depressing stage after the unfortunate passing of his love.
