Lydia Hart receives a call from her Aunt Claudia, who is in distress over her son Dustin. After Dustin's many run-ins with the Hawkins police department and habit of being at the scene of dangerous disasters time and time again, Claudia was at the end of her rope. Lydia made her way to Hawkins, Indiana to help keep an eye on Dustin and give her aunt some peace of mind. She would have to finish her Senior Year there, but what was one more move if it meant she would get to spend more time with Dustin and join in on whatever he keeps getting himself into?
After making quite the entrance and finding herself among the odd group her cousin calls his own, she then meets some new friendly faces, including Eddie Munson.
