Keita Lemoine is the youngest trainee chosen for the magic-military of the kingdom, Ramis. He is very quiet, withdrawn and easily angered. On his first trial, he gets chosen by a commander named Reid Heron, who pisses him off like no other on a daily basis. However, after so many days of being Reid's trainee, he begins to develop a strange feeling for the commander. Despite all of Reid's obvious perverted and sadist advances, Keita shows no signs of quitting his trainee job- and if he has to deal with his feelings getting in the way, then so be it.
In a big country, surrounded by war, even trainees get sucked up into the fray of the fight. And trainee Keita Lemoine finds himself in a plot thicker than syrup as he gets more involved with his commander and a race called 'The Royales'.
