"I drank coffee" my personal warning sign that shit was about to go down.
Mars wouldn't exactly say she's ordinary, she has a reputation of being the weird quiet kid in her school.
But there's nothing extraordinary about her. Well except for the fact that caffeine turns her life in to a live drama. With chaos ensuing every time caffeine so much as touches her lips it throws her into a series of crazy, awkward and cringe situations.
But maybe that isn't all that bad... especially if it gets her to have a decent conversation with her crush, Aidan, the schools heartthrob and the guy she's liked since kindergarten.
With every sip of coffee comes a rush of adrenaline that fuels her to take risks and actions she'd usually be to scared to. Almost as if for a moment she can be someone else, a braver and bolder version of herself. However is it really worth it at the expense of her emotional well being?
