"We were under the watch and care of the Government now, as there was a war that has been going on for 15 years and our country was losing. As a last resort, they have taken orphans, kids nobody wants, with hobo's and drug addictions, and placed them on the front lines of war. We were forced to be in military training. Orphan Soldiers."

《《《《《This is some VERY old writing of mine. Enter if you dare clichés, terrible grammar, and a story with next-to-no scenery descriptions. I might revisit this idea later, so I'm leaving it up for now.》》》》》 Crying. It's an act to show emotion. It is only supposed to be seen by those around you when it happens, but here, it's different. In this dystopian world, you can see, via hologram, the last time someone cried. There are people who use this to manipulate and antagonize others. Anna is the center of our story. She's a 16 year old girl who has under gone much heartache due to the dystopian setting. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.
