Alice wanted to stop, catch her breathe but that would allow whatever was following her to swallow her in darkness. Alice didn't stop she fell, straight down in fact, nothing was chasing her it was a lure to get her inside. Inside the forest of no return.
Luis had heard about the superstition surrounding the forest but never believed it. This was a case of a missing girl and not just one case but almost twenty now. with cases pilling up the department finally decides to send a search party to the forest despite the worries of the officers. Edward Carson Luis's best friend was part of that search party and the whole team but him dies. What happened in that forest, no one can get answers from Edward and hes been acting off. He stares at everyone with fear, doesn't like large groups or sunlight, hes also taken more interest in Luis then before. Edward thinks Luis would understand, that all he needs is a trip to the forest. Luis doesn't believe in superstition but if his best friend is acting off he will do whatever it takes to find out why and what secrets lurk in the murky darkness of the forest of no return.
