Based on the LOTR steddie AU by milotheboywonder on tiktok. It all started when Steve the Hair Harrington got roped into the "nerdish delusions" ( as he so kindly put it ) by Dustin and Eddie. Eddie who practically shoved Lord of the Rings down his throat, proclaiming that he must read it otherwise he would steal Dustin away from him forever and turn him into the spawn of Satan. Quite the drama queen Munson. But what started off as a fantasy book, turned into love interest questions, turned into an inner crisis, turned two idiots who are totally and inevitably in love with each other in 1980's Hawkins, Indiana.
