Just leave me alone!" she screamed, pushing weakly against his chest. "You're bleeding... please, just listen to me," he said, his voice soft but shaking. She looked up at him through her tears. "Don't," she whispered, her voice breaking. "Don't care about me. It hurts... when you care." --- > He screamed because he couldn't stand seeing her break. She cried because he was the reason she did. He wanted her to stop hurting. She wanted him to stop caring.
