I simply couldn't bring myself to walk away from him as he got closer, his umber eyes captivating me,leaving me in a trance
"Everytime I look into those beautiful brown eyes Evelyn..." He sweetly trailed off, brushing his hand softly against my cheek"I just simply melt into them....."
I tried to move,but his words drew me in the closer he got.
He then slightly raised my head up by the chin to make our eyes meet but the longer I softened into his gaze the more the pain took over.
Sometimes I find it hard to believe that those very same eyes caused me so much pain to the point where I was almost brought to tears at that very moment
"Whenever I'm having a rough time at work,all I think about throughout the whole day Is getting back to you...I'm miserable without you"he breathed desperately bringing his face closer to mine leaving only a few centimetres between us
I searched his eyes for a hint of deception,a sign that might finally let me walk away permanently,but as I did I ended up with nothing.
