SYNOPSIS
Chasing the Dawn
(Pueblo Monteflavio Series 2)
Aurora Celeste Escandon is a cheerful and energetic, amiable, adventurous, full of enthusiasm yet sometimes a gullible girl who always dreams of a prestigious life and wanted to belong with the upper-crust.
One morning changed her life forever for she met the mysterious Alonzo Esmael Monteflavio the Sixth who happened to suffer from a severe memory loss from a dreadful event.
She was always in hopes that he could finally stare at her like he's smitten and take her to a castle where she's going to live up her dreams, so, she tried her best for him to remember, she helped in any ways possible with her utmost sincerity.
It seems like a fairy godmother made her wish came true but instead of rejoicing, she just found herself inside a small cage, prohibiting her to touch the unwanted. Her father sold her to an old businessman.
She merely went outside without any guards sorrounding her, her father setted rules and she got hurt each time she disobeyed it, with this treatment, she became bold and fearless, she rebels and met her long lost prince charming who once made her life a fairytale.
She acted cold and tough but as the days have passed by, she slowly found herself believing that her buried dream still could come into reality.
And there goes Alonzo with his true intentions, he admitted that eversince they've met, he always question the spell which Aurora casted on him, he fell harder everyday.
Now that she's just a mile away, he wanted to bring back the brightest and mesmerizing smile he's ever seen. He's fully determined to get Aurora out of her forlorn life.
However, the will of the wind has no guarantee. Will they continuously gamble for the sake of their love? Will they still fight despite the uncertainty?
"Go, chase me now like there's no tomorrow, Sixto for you can no longer follow me in hell."
As much as Kimberly Astor hated to admit it, she had a slight problem. Okay, so it was theoretically a major problem, but it wasn't entirely her fault. Okay, so it was her fault, (at least to a certain extent, according to her) but her dad didn't need to be all rude about it. He especially did not need to threaten her future role as CEO on it too.
And, setting up an arranged marriage to fix said 'problem' is so out of proportion. Okay, it wasn't completely out of proportion, but still.
Jace Kingston didn't know what he was getting into when he agreed to be married to a 'problematic heiress'. He certainly was not expecting a sexy vixen, who was hellbent on getting on his nerves and destroying the semblance of normalcy he established in his complex life.
So, when the two come together to form a business alliance, they make a simple plan.
1. Fix the problem.
2. Don't ever bring up personal things.
3. Get out.
Too bad breaking the second rule is making the third rule look a lot more... difficult.
(not edited... i swear i'm trying)
