I was only 19 when i figured out i was a werewolf. I didn't know what to do. When I first turned, i bit my parents. None werewolf's. Which pretty much means i killed my parents. But later after that i found out i was adopted. So i killed people who were innocent. Great. Now let's get onto the story to where i'm at now. Enjoy :).

Every time I tried to stop, something clenched in my stomach, instinctual and feral. It compelled me to move. Sometimes it felt like it was pulling me in the opposite direction, back the way I came. That feeling I ignored - nothing short of demonic possession could convince me to go anywhere near that forest ever again. It wouldn't be nearly long enough that I would realize I hadn't imagined that pull. That some invisible force was compelling me towards that man. To Nate. I didn't anticipate, though, that one bad theft in the beginning was going to send a ripple that would come back to haunt me in unimaginable ways.

Mort, is the Alpha for the Red Crimson pack and I am his Beta, Taragon. He has recently found a mate and because of an accident that happened years ago after I found mine that caused her death, my punishment was that I would never have another mate. I accepted it as punishment for not protecting her at the time and caused her death. One day, the Alpha meets his mate and she happens to be a runt in one of the worst families of our kind. He isn't too happy with her and she's so fragile looking. Although, he feels that for her, she can still be useful around the house. While he's away, I take care of some things along with keeping an eye on her also. Then something happened, out-of-nowhere, I heard my inner wolf say, 'mate'. How can she be my mate when she's the Alpha's? What can I do since I can't let the Alpha know about this? I can't defy or go against the Alpha. Yet, I can't stand the way he treats her. I hope you all give this a chance. I was going to do something along the lines of having it be the Beta's mate being mistreated and then the Alpha takes care of her. However, I strayed away from that idea because I don't know, I felt this was a better idea since the Alpha is always coming out on top and Beta's don't have mush stories. I see the little 8 year old boy from last night run away crying, one of Ruby's cousins. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!"
