They both have abusive parents, Espresso's parents abused him and would hit him while Madeleine's father would call him names and slap him sometimes. Espresso's ex also comes into the story for a bit. Dark Enchantress is their main enemy for throughout the story. Will they be able to stick together, or will one of them perish along the way? Read the book to find out! BTW, this story is made for fun so I don't expect people to read it!
