Courage is not the absence of fear, but the capability to act in spite of it. yet there is one line of ships known to show no fear, no dread no matter what they come across. this, is the Dreadnought class battleship. their Lead ship, HMS dreadnought, arguably the progenitor of the modern battleship, her time coming to an end.

-Book one- When the war between Azur Lane and the Red Axis broke out, a person led their fleet into the fray. The fleet, lesser known by many, has achieved great feats through its time out at sea and continues to impress as the battles go by. The person, unlike his subordinates, is only human. Yet knowing how weak his body is in comparison, he continues to push both his limits and luck to the brink as he leads his ships with efficiency like no other. Assigned to command the Maple Monarchy's fleet in Azur Lane, William Thompson would prove his worth through tactics and victory. His calm and devoted mentality would lead his fleet through hurdles without faltering. The strong and compassionate image he would display quickly gained the respect of all who followed him.
