Cassandra Forbes is a normal high school student in California living with her dad. When her dad dies because of a sickness she has to move in with her cousin Caroline and her aunt Liz Forbes in Mystic falls. Her stay in Mystic falls turns interesting when she finds out supernatural secrets about her cousin and her friends and even some new stuff about herself.
It all changes when Klaus Mikaelson the big bad wolf comes to town and he turns Cassandra into what she least wants to be which includes her being sired to him. Klaus thinks he got everything under control but he is messing with the thing he knows least about, love. While he messes around with Cassandra and her actions he doesn't realize that she's messing with his heart, he is slowly realizing that he is in love with this girl so badly that it hurt him to not be with her.
