Five and Lila are stuck in an alternate timeline where something they aren't sure of wiped every sign of human life gone. Five has been trying so hard to use his abilities to get them home and it's been six years. Lila misses her mundane family life. Five just wants his family safe. But what if they never make it home, and everything is still okay?
I'm basically giving this bizarre plot point the attention it deserved.

Diego wants his wife back and is willing to do anything to get it... What might it look like if Lila and Five forgot their years on the subway? Would Diego have a chance again or would their feelings be stronger even if they didn't remember what happened between them? I had one darker idea when I was thinking up the Survival story, but I didn't use it and went a different way. On the other hand, I think it could be an interesting alternate version of the story. Especially for those who prefer something more angsty and dramatic. So we'll see what the reactions are. My apologies to Diego fans, but he really will be capable of anything in this story.
