There is a girl named Callie, she has had a small crush on Zachariah ever since she moved to California 7 years ago. He hasn't had it easy since the day Callie met him. These two have been friends for a very long time. They have been in an on and off relationship since they were in the 5th grade together. Callie is scared to proceed with a relationship as he recently ran away from his adoptive parents. Callie was worried about him and then two weeks later he calls her. Callie freaks out and is scared of loosing everything she has had to work for since her 5th grade year. Callie is afriad to get into trouble for being in contact with him until he realized that he wants to be a better person and wants to get better for himself and her. What will Callie do for love? Will Zachariah understand that she isn't ready to know if a group home will help him choose a better way of living? Is she ready to tie down and help him if he needs her too? Does Zachariah realize that he's asking a lot from Callie? In the end will this be a smart idea for her and will he succeed like Callie wants?

Christina has had her life figured out for as long as she could remember. The plan was always to get into Harvard and become a journalist. So what if she doesn't have much of a social life? She's got friends. Even one who's pretty close. A busy social calender never fit into the plan. And a boyfriend certainly didn't. Especially with her father's strict rules. Besides there'd be plenty of time for all that later, right? Mike doesn't know what he's doing past the next week. His only plan for the future includes turning out to be nothing like his father. And possibly finding a girl who actually likes him for himself rather than for his face and social status, for a change. He's beginning to think they're all the same, though - pretty and nice to be around for a while, but pretty shallow. Mike and Christina have known each other forever but haven't been close for years. They soon start to question their priorities and why in the world they let their friendship fall apart so long ago. Can their relationship, still so young and fragile, withstand what's ahead?
