In the 1940's, Katherine had always felt like the outcast from her family. The Carters were a well known family in England and when her older sister Peggy went off to fight in the War, following in their fathers foot steps. She followed Peggy to help, leaving behind the life her family wanted for her, Katherine finds love in the most unlikely of places.
But with love, comes grief. After losing the love of her life and the only other support she had goes into the ice, her future takes a drastic turn and she finds herself living in the 21st century.
What happens when an old friend finds his way back into her life after 70 years and a ghost story crashes the new life she is trying to build for herself?
