"Eren come, lie next to me."

You pat to the empty space next to you. The thunder was harsh and the rain heavy.

He sits on the edge of the bed, back towards you. You move closer and rest your head on his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" you whisper.

He lifts his head and gazes at the window. The room was dark, the only source of light being the occasional bolt of electricity.

"Sometimes...."

"Sometimes?" you lift the bottom of his shirt, tracing his back with light and gentle touches.

He sighs and leans his head back, his hair brushing your face. He still wasn't looking at you.

You kiss his shoulder. "Eren look at me and tell me what's wrong."

He turns his body, facing you.

"Y/N."

You move to speak but he puts a finger on your mouth silencing you.

"I wish I had never married you."
