Steve Harrington, the 'king', was the school's popular guy for a long period of time. He loved the attention he got, mostly from girls, but also from others.

He always reacted the same to compliments and praises. But June 1th something changed his perspective on life. His sexuality, personality, popularity and thoughts was the things he was starting to question. Nothing felt the same again. He didn't know where he wanted to go, he just stood still and got lost in his thoughts. 

Eddie Munson, the 'freak', was the infamous guy in school and town. He wasn't the type of popular that Harrington was, he was infamous. People backed away from him. No one really knew him from the inside. He never showed his real self to the world. 

He always hid his desires from others. Never really showed interest in anyone, or maybe everyone...
He was the type of guy to jokingly flirt with people around the town. It was a unnecessary and a bother to the population, but Harrington took it completely different than the others, which Eddie didn't understand from the beginning. 

But as the time flew by and everything seemed normal around town. There was something going on with the two well known boys....

Steve(21) Hasn't had a chance to leave this awful place. He has stayed around for the kids, wanting nothing more to be there for each one's graduation. Confused. Lonely. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more? I do not own rights to the ST characters or themes but I do own rights to my own storyline. I will be using pictures from artists that I find as the art for each chapter.
