Based on a short story from my creative writing class. Same rough idea up until the end of chapter two, that's as far as the cw story got.

Story takes place in & during the first Persian gulf war

Michael, Jason, and Chris. The three who promised to fight for their country and embrace the Air Force motto of, "Fly. Fight. Win."

When the three are deployed to a terribly put together regiment, often they spend their time bored. One day, when the Blackhawk goes out to save some ambushed soldiers. The helicopter comes back nearly blown to smithereens by Non-heat guided SAMs, and a lucky shot from an Iraqi soldier gives Chris a gunshot wound in the shoulder. Unfortunately, he is killed as it was through an Artery. With no better weaponry immediately available, the two remaining take to the skies as soon as the famous call, "Send in the Warthogs." Rings through radio.

In this story of burning deserts, roaring engines, firing guns, and shrieking enemy aircraft, with a bit of love, everyone has their own ideals. Some of those ideals don't go well together, but that's what makes everyone their own person.

Ten years after the battle at Single Oak, the four groups of Oregon are still reeling from its after effects. Territory lines were drawn and stories have been told, those who were heroes once are legends now. In order to avoid new conflicts, solstice gatherings between the groups' leaders were organized-but will they be enough? *** Phoenix has grown up only ever knowing two things. One, her group and fathers are the saviors of Oregon. Two, The Reaper's are not to be trusted. So when a mysterious stranger rescues her after a hunting trip gone wrong turns out to be none other than her mortal enemy she begins to wonder, are they all as bad as they seem? The death of Stephan has begun to deteriorate The Reaper's from the inside out. Infighting over who should be their next leader has created countless seasons of lacking supplies and structure. A lack of prey follows a famine. Strong leadership is in order and although Gerald can provide it, debate and rumors are spread about his chosen companion-Aleu, Stephan's once respected apprentice, now glued to his side in a relationship they never wanted-with no say in the matter. The only person who The Reaper's can put their hope into is Hawk, their new general, a powerful man willing to do anything to keep his group thriving. Hawk is torn between keeping his group safe and his own ambition, Aleu is tortured with a constricting life they hate and Phoenix wonders if she can truly trust her new acquaintances. Now the three must make a decision. Will pushing aside the past and working together to make peace be worth turning their backs on their groups or is blood the only cure for the misdeeds of the past? _____________________ Story rating: 17+ Content warnings: Childhood trauma, subtext of grooming, strong language, violence and gore This can hypothetically be read as a stand alone but it's recommended to read the original series first.

Meters before impact dad finally caught on to what was about to happen, despite it being day the approaching vehicle's headlights blinded us as our cars breaks slammed on, the sound of the tires melting away as the rubber tires scraped against the pavement filled the air and the scent of burning rubber overwhelmed my nostrils, despite our efforts the brakes didn't slow us down, we were to late. War for Change by Colby101001
36 parts Complete Mature
Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. (This is my first story, and the art seen does not belong to me.) (Book 1 of War series)
Lords of Fire MC (MC Romance, Thriller) [complete] by GlennHefley
31 parts Complete Mature
MC Romance Neil watched for too long, he figured. His club, the Lords MC in Florida became more 'outlaw' every week, and he saw no opportunity to change that direction. He never wanted to be outlaw, and now he was delivering enough to put him down for 30 years, three times a week. With his dad passing away, and his little sisters needing him around more, it was a wake-up call. Time to ride, with someone else if he found a pack worth joining, or lone wolf if not. With his status and tenure, it never occurred to him that he wouldn't be allowed to move on. When Shayla and Sydney came in as dealers a few years back instead of finishing college, their vow was a few years then out. They had a hell of a run. Parties that were legend, lovers of every sexy man type from Cuban to Norwegian and back again. But it was game time again. The years were great, but not what they wanted for their lives. Then they met Neil, and it was like seeing themselves for the first time, in stark light. He was always courteous and professional, unlike their other delivery men from the MC. He never treated them with anything except respect. In the reflection of his cobalt eyes, though, neither saw themselves worth his respect. It wasn't a shaming, more of a profound regret that a man like Neil finally showed up and they were too far into the life to say "hey, this isn't who we are." The whole "I'm not as I am" Othello play was for victims anyway, and they weren't victims. They were volunteers. But just meeting Neil slammed the door on waiting any longer to get out and back to university. Then two other dealers left the club, and turned up in trash bags, their bodies hacked up by machete.

All stories have villains, monsters that scare little children, people who strike fear into your heart with just a glance. Devils, monsters, cruel people, villains. But what about the villains who aren't evil? The ones who you can sympathize with? The ones that only scare you because you can imagine doing the same things? The villains who surprise you when they turn bad? Those are the worst villains, and this story has a villain like that. Our story starts in a bright city, with a boy and his team, fighting for their government, and believing the world is fine as is. But our story also starts with a girl and her team, fighting desperately against the government for their perfect world. Both part of the select families gifted with powers hundreds of years ago. Andromeda - an Icarus Guard rebel, able to control bravery and fear, only wants for the government to fall and to take her mother who abandoned her with it. Sebastian - a White Wing soldier by birth, believes without the current government it would be chaos, and that the rebels should be taken out. When the two meet and are forced to work together, who knows what will happen to the government, and everyone caught in their crosshairs.
