Mutated

In the future, humanity's curiosity becomes their downfall. They decide to replace the regular elements used in nuclear reactors with newly discovered and untested elements to produce even more energy. These elements produce enough energy to power the world, but after a few years, the machines (as well as the inexperienced employees) can't cope with the extreme power of these new elements. One evening, when one person is left to watch the reactor, the coolant system goes haywire and an irreversible apocalypse is created, where almost all living creatures have been merged with other creatures, except for a small group of people. They call themselves the 'Survivors' and they believe the only solution is to eliminate all merged creatures in order to restore the dominance of humanity over Earth. The problem is that there are merged humanoid creatures who don't like the idea of being erased from existence.
The fate of the Earth is uncertain, but as its end gets closer, a solution is needed...
