Avalon Munson, little sister of Eddie "The freak" Munson, is a cheerleader at Hawkins High. Her life had been fairly uneventful... until the year 1986.
Granted, the small town of Hawkins had been seen as "cursed" by many, Avalon only saw it as home. What happens when her brother is accused of murder? How will her life change with the new wave of disaster that strikes the small town? Does someone she meets during the worst year of her life make it somewhat bearable?
