When Starlite Rose wakes up in a fancy flat in Paris with two sisters she doesn't recognize, two people who aren't her parents, her parents dead, memories of her dead little brother haunting her, and a rencounter with someone from her past, she wonders what happened to her boring life in Krempsfield, Ohio... And the time between her 14th birthday and her 17th birthday. She's trying to adapt to an entirely new lifestyle, but there's a dangerous secret in her missing years, and if she can't crack the case, she and everything she's ever known could be in great danger.
