Numb: A Sociopath in Love

Being a demon exterminator isn't easy, especially for Cain Brennen. At 16, he's never been to school once, and hasn't seen his family until a year ago. Raised by his uncle Ramsey, he's been taught to embrace sociopathic traits, since it has major advantages to his occupation - a demon hunter. Cain's been real busy lately, exterminating demons around his hometown, since his uncle left him to hunt the old Sumerian demon Asag, otherwise known as the Antichrist. 20 years earlier, the Christian Apocalypse struck, and now it's the demon hunters' responsibility to protect what they can of oblivious humanity, whether they care for them or not. Cain certainly doesn't, and only kills because it's what he's been taught to do, but that all changes when he receives a message from a fellow demon hunter. Suddenly, Cain isn't just a numb hunter - he's a teenage boy with emerging romantic feelings, a rising dictator in his hometown, and the apocalypse on his hands.
