This takes place after Vecna is killed, Eddies name is cleared, Max is alive and the upside down is demolished. The whole 'gang' lives in Hawkins.
Eddie is having a hard time after his time in the upside down. The whole town blames him for the murders, he's on the verge of being thrown out of his trailer. He can't forget what happened and blames himself for the events.
But, oddly Steve seems to provide him the most comfort. They hang out alot, talking and laughing, listening to music and seeing movies.
But it's completely platonic! Right?
